Yes, you need to make sure that your ports are open on your router! I covered this in a video posted a while back: ruclips.net/video/Zph-nj_DvSY/видео.html The short answer though is to forward ports 7240, 7241, and 7242 on your router :)

You could try the ConvertSerial tool (see description) but, unfortunately, if the key simply will not work I don't have many solutions. You could try reaching out to TaleWorlds about the key itself but, as the game is so old, they might not respond or do anything. They might also blame the mod itself

The way I did it, yes, you need to Host the game again each time you have a battle. I believe there's a way to set up a dedicated server to keep it up rather than require a fresh host each time, but I've not done that personally yet

Ah! I suppose it hasn't appeared on this channel and only on my live archive, but I've streamed Shards map work and scripting a few times on Twitch! At present I'm working out the pathing (when I did this years ago the pathing broke down and caused instability). Once I've worked out the bugs and launch back into larger scale constructions I'll be continuing the narrated videos, though at present the timeline is up in the air due to IRL circumstances

I haven't tried LAN before, so I suppose that's more a question on if the Multiplayer button in the base game can detect LAN or not. I believe there's a way to set up a more permanent server with the mod, but have not looked into that in great detail or what it would mean for LAN

@@SylasVT I have used ZeroTier to connect everyone so 1) no need for setting up routers and ports 2) everyone can host their own saves into mp. Worth trying if you ever come back to it!

The co-op part is the battles themselves. The mod hosts the combat as a multiplayer game that others can join and then applies the results to the campaign once the battle concludes
